From a few saws to a full construction operation.
The company began in 1969 as Norman Pestka Brushing Contractor, de-brushing beneath power poles for UP Power. Norman secured a bank loan, bought power saws, a truck, a chipper and a camper, and built the business from the ground up.
Over the years the work expanded into trucking, excavation, demolition, land clearing, custom building, concrete, shoreline protection and property development.
The scale of the projects changed. The standard did not: do the job safely, bring the right equipment and take pride in the result.
